Karen was born in Albany, New York on April 13th, 1970.

She was very creative and artistic from a very early age,

Culminating with a degree in Fine Arts from Albany Junior College.

As well as being an extremely avid reader, 

Karen was also a published poet.

Evidencing her intelligence and wit, Karen coined the term

"Jew-ish" to describe herself and her family.

Karen was  beautiful both inside and out and was taken from us far too soon.
